We produced a film for the Foresight Group, exploring how holistic land management can create value for investors in the Fordie Estate in Perthshire, Scotland. We worked to create a film that moves beyond the conventions of a traditional corporate video, drawing instead on documentary and cinematic landscape storytelling. The piece uses wide aerials and sweeping shots to situate Fordie within Scotland’s wider natural story. These expansive landscapes are balanced with moments of human warmth, creating a visual language that feels authentic, tactile, and grounded rather than polished or promotional.

Interviews are filmed outdoors, embedded within the woodland and wetland environments themselves. Shots of sweeping landscapes and wildlife moving through the land — are woven throughout to build intimacy and connection, while warm, golden-hour light and earthy tones reinforce a sense of trust and long-term care. Paired with organic, acoustic music and layered natural sound, the film reflects Fordie Estate’s five-year journey within their Natural Capital portfolio, demonstrating how holistic land management can deliver measurable environmental impact — from over 813,000 trees planted to significant carbon sequestration — while supporting local communities and generating sustainable long-term value.
